My recommendation would be go to a good market and get the seafood yourself. Even a poor cook could prepare just as decent as they did, and for a fraction of the price. I don't think I'll be returning.
The shrimp on my salad were poorly and unevenly charred, and the majority of my mussels weren't steamed to open, leaving me with a huge inedible mess.
Had a Caeser salad, a pasta dish, a chicken dish and a ribeye - all were good but not phenomenal
This is by far the most amazing meal I have ever had on Topsail in the 26 years I've been coming here. If you stay here you need to eat here. We had the most amazing service too. Our serving companion even walked us out! It felt like home except this food was better!
A ok spot for a dinner, but this place would be challenged to survive in a bigger area. Wait staff was very friendly, but the ambience leaves so much to be desired. While the food was somewhat well thought out in flavors, I was really disappointed with my seafood, which should be their saving grace as a costal restaurant.
My wife threw me a surprise birthday party there and it was amazing. The food was easily the best on the island. The manager, Brooke, was incredibly helpful and professional. I ended up staying at the condo for a week and ate at this restaurant a number of times. Each time, I ordered something different and it was always delicious. The staff was very professional, friendly, and prompt. I wish I could 10 stars!
Started out with a glass of Pinot Gris and Manhattan - wine was undrinkable (they took it back and didn't charge for it) - Manhattan was not good almost watered down - then got 2 different glasses of red wine - 1 was good - other was just passable
This is not a "normal" restaurant - it is in the common area for an upscale condo complex - easy to miss from the road - parking is across the street - service was good - drinks were horrible - food was decent
Was there for a wedding last night and had great experience! Brooke did an awesome job and I don't think she stopped once! The bartenders Dominique, and Daddy were phenominal, and I can't remember the guys names in the back or the dude at the front door, but they were extremely helpful all night. The food was great and not only does my family have a restaurant but I've been in the biz for almost 25 yrs and the food was great. The crab cakes and steak were a huge hit and everybody was talking about the bbq. And to top it off Daddy the bartender was beyond easy to look at, was the cherry on the sundae.
